Rihanna (feat. Calvin Harris) - "We Found Love"

It has been a few weeks since any song on the radio has grabbed me and not let go.

This time it's Rihanna and her extremely catchy song, "We Found Love." I can't quite put my finger on it, but this song reminds me of something from early the 90s. Perhaps someone has some sort of idea?

Rihanna isn't what you would call a great vocalist, but she sure uses what she has very effectively. She is perfect for the radio—it's just hit after hit with this girl.

"We Found Love" is available on Rihanna's sixth ALBUM, Talk That Talk:

Kelly Clarkson - "Mr. Know It All"

I have always liked Kelly Clarkson, but admittedly I kind of lost track of her for a few years. Not because her work suddenly lacked quality, however. As far as I know, Kelly has always been pretty consistent in making quality hits perfectly suited for the radio.

This song is particularly special. Her voice is so powerful and leaves a lasting impact on the listener. I just can't just enough of her talent when I hear songs like this. Very impressive.

It's also nice to hear a song with a message of self empowerment and belief.

"Mr. Know It All" is available on Kelly Clarkson's fifth ALBUM, Stronger [or on the Deluxe Version]:

Kelly Clarkson is an American pop rock singer-songwriter and actress. Clarkson came into prominence after becoming the winner of the inaugural season of the television series American Idol in 2002 and would later become the runner-up in the television special World Idol in 2003. [Wikipedia]

Cobra Starship (feat. Sabi) - "You Make Me Feel..."

What a great song for driving! I can't get this out of my head. I know next-to-nothing about the artist, Cobra Starship, but apparently they have been around since 2003. Their debut album was released in 2006.

Anyway, time to party!

"You Make Me Feel..." is available on Cobra Starship's fourth ALBUM, Night Shades:

Maroon 5 (feat. Christina Aguilera) - "Moves Like Jagger"

I have never been a big fan of Maroon 5, but this song is extremely catchy and a great party song.

Chances are you have heard it on the radio by now and found yourself singing/moving along at some point. If not, there's no better time to start!

"Moves Like Jagger" is available on Maroon 5's third ALBUM, Hands All Over [or on the Deluxe Edition]:

Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. Since debuting in 2002, the band has sold over 10 million albums in the United States and nearly 15 million worldwide. [Wikipedia]

Adele - "Someone Like You"

OK, so this song isn't actually stuck in my head at the moment, but Adele is so incredibly talented and deserving of the recognition/airplay she receives.

The chorus in particular is just so powerful. Touching. Moving. And her voice during the bold text below? Amazing. It gets me every time:
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you, too
Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said
Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead
Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead
